Malolo Rugby has two trump cards going into their much-anticipated Skipper Cup final against Naitasiri today.
Leading their charge is captain Imanueli Bari who hails from Lasilevu, Wainimala in Naitasiri.
At flyhalf, a familiar name to Naitasiri rugby fans will spearhead the Malolo backline, Kini Douglas, a product of Naitasiri rugby will line up against his former team today.
Naitasiri rugby manager Pena Qaia is very wary of the two players.
“He (Bari) carries the Naitasiri reputation every time he captains his team, facing familiar faces in the final gives him a mental edge and everyone knows how good he is on the field.
“Their playmaker Douglas came through the our rugby ranks, from our colt’s team to the senior team. His understanding of our style of play and the players in the team gives Malolo the upper hand.”
