Fiji Swimming president Ben Rova said swimmers from the seven participating clubs displayed exceptional performances.
“We recorded some great personal best times and our Olympic hopefuls in Hansel McCaig and Kelera Mudunasoko got some good times also. Fiji Swimming will be sending a team of eight swimmers to the Junior Pan Pacs in the next month and a half time,” he said.
The eight athletes will also be part of Fiji Swimming’s long-term development plans.
The two-day competition was the last LC age group event for Fiji Swimming in this calendar year.
