MUSIC composers and performing artist’s now have a unique opportunity to market their songs via a Digicel Fiji business called Trend Media.
Digicel Fiji CEO Darren McLean said local musicians keen to explore how the digital mobile telecommunications platform could benefit their products now had access to the region and the world through their platform.
“Over the last 12 months we’ve built a business called Trend Media which employs a number of people and is a significant team,” he said.
“They are focused on mobile advertising, content, news and apps and marketing campaigns on mobile phones and other assets.
“And there are definitely opportunities there, if we organise it right, for musicians and artist’s to effectively put together a music store over mobiles and over specific markets.
“So where we have predominant market share in many areas and very strong market share where we can reach lots of parts of the country.
“And it’s actually the only way we can get content out to remote parts of the Pacific and Trend Media is how this could be achieved.”
