‘Transport Commerce and General Workers Union (TCGWU)’

This is the new name for Transport Workers Union (TWU).

The Union will now be the voice of all workers including fishers.

Speaking at the unveiling of the rebranded logo today, Minister for Employment, Productivity and Workplace Relations Agni Deo Singh said the renaming marked a significant milestone in the Union’s journey.

“This transformation is not just about a new name, a fresh logos, it is about your unwavering commitment to advocate for all workers, regardless of their industry or background,” he said.

“The new logo embodies this commitment, it symbolizes unity, strength and resilience, it reflects your dedication to standing up for the rights of workers in every corner of this economy.”
