The school holidays have begun on a tragic note following the alleged drowning of a nine-year-old boy in Navuso over the weekend.
The child was reported missing on Saturday, prompting a search operation.
His body was later found in Naililili, Rewa, and identified by relatives.
Authorities are continuing investigations into the circumstances surrounding the drowning.
