Tourism Fiji held a roadshow in the Greater China market from November 12 to 20, with the theme “Visa-Free Holiday Fiji, Warm Winter Getaway”.

The nine-day event covered major cities such as Shenzhen, Chengdu, Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong. Collaborating with more than 16 Fijian Industry partners, including Fiji Airways, hotels, day tours, and ground operators in an effort to cater to the preferences of Chinese travellers.

Tourism Fiji highlighted the most recent tourism offerings for Chinese travel agents and media.

“We look forward to seeing Chinese travellers choose Fiji as their holiday destination. Chinese travellers can visit Fiji without the hassle of visa applications,” Tourism Fiji CEO Brent Hill said.

“China is Fiji’s fourth-largest source market, and we look forward to sharing Fiji’s warm hospitality, pristine natural landscapes, and unique travel experiences with more Chinese travellers,” Mr Hill added.

Tourism Fiji Regional Director of Asia and Global Chinese Market Vincent Zheng said: “We aim to provide Chinese travellers with diverse inspiration for Fiji holidays, catering to various preferences, whether they are seeking romantic island getaways, thrilling adventures, or luxury retreats.”

Fiji’s industry partners are preparing to introduce a range of specially crafted dining experiences and services during the Chinese New Year, ensuring a heartwarming winter journey for the Chinese travellers.

The event engaged in in-depth discussions with over 400 travel industry professionals and 80 media representatives from the greater China market.
