THE competition is set to intensify with the announcement that the top eight teams from the Rooster End of the Year Volleyball festival 2025 will secure automatic qualification for the highly anticipated 2026 Fiji Volleyball Festival.
Initiated by the Nasinu Volleyball Alliance (NVA) in partnership with the Fiji Sports Council (FSC), the Rooster Chicken Volleyball Grassroot Development Festival has generated excitement.
This two-day tournament aims to elevate volleyball standards across Fiji and showcase emerging talent.
NVA president Mataiasi Daulako has provided an encouraging update for participating teams, revealing plans for the grand scale of the upcoming Fiji Volleyball Festival 2026.
“The Fiji Volleyball Festival 2026 will be massive, with plans to invite Oceania teams (including Australia and New Zealand) and an Asia team to compete and bringing this high-level intensity and opportunity to the grassroot development,” said Daulako.
“The event will grow into a major festival for families, including access to food stalls, shopping, and other services.”
