Tight battles across grades in Fiji Primary Schools Netball Tournament

NADROGA has set the pace in the under-9 grade of the Crest Fiji Primary School Netball Tournament, remaining unbeaten to top Pool A with six points at Subrail Park in Labasa.

They are followed by Labasa Mystics with four points, tied with Cakau Pearls, as competition tightens across the pools. In Pool B, Nadi Giants lead convincingly with eight points ahead of Cakau Tagimoucia, while Pool C sees Nasinu Celeste on six points just ahead of Labasa Firebirds on five.

Suva Libra heads Pool D with six points, followed by Navosa on four. Pool E features a shared lead between Lautoka Maroons and Cakau Sharks on six points, with Suva Velvet trailing on four.

In Pool F, Nadi Jets and Lautoka Gold are tied on six points, while Nasinu Phoenix sits on four.

The under-10 grade has also produced close contests, with Cakau Tagimoucia and Kadavu tied on six points in Pool A, and Navosa and Nadi Jets locked on six in Pool B. Lautoka Maroons lead Pool C with six points ahead of Cakau Pearls on five.

Cakau Sharks top Pool D with six points, narrowly ahead of Naitasiri Highlands on five, while Nadroga and Suva Libra share the lead in Pool E with six points each.

In Pool F, Labasa Mystics lead on six, while Nasinu Celeste and Macuata South are tied on four.

Suva Orchid remains in contention in Pool G with four points.

In the under-11 grade, Lautoka Maroons lead Pool A with six points, while Nasinu Celeste dominates Pool B with eight, followed by Tailevu South on six.

Cakau Tagimoucia tops Pool C with eight points ahead of Suva Velvet on six.

Pool D is tightly contested, with Kadavu and Cakau Pearls tied on seven points, while Navosa leads Pool E with six points, just ahead of Lautoka Gold on five.

Nadroga leads Pool F with six points. The under-12 division has also seen strong performances, with Lautoka Maroons and Nadroga tied on eight points in Pool A.

Lautoka Gold and Cakau Sharks share the lead in Pool C with six points, while Nadi Giants top Pool D with six.

Suva Velvet leads Pool E with six points, while Suva Orchid heads Pool F with the same tally. Cakau Tagimoucia and Suva Libra also lead their respective pools with six points each.

In the under-13 grade, Nasinu Celeste and Cakau Tagimoucia are tied on eight points in Pool A, while Lautoka Gold and Nadi Jets share top spot in Pool B with six.

Pool C is evenly poised with Cakau Sharks and Suva Libra tied on five points.

Lautoka Maroons dominate Pool D with eight points, while Nadroga White leads Pool E with six. Suva Orchid tops Pool F with six, and Labasa Firebirds lead Pool G.

The under-14 grade has seen Suva Orchid take control of Pool A with 10 points, followed by Kadavu on eight.

Cakau Pearls and Suva Libra are tied on six in Pool B, while Serua leads Pool C.

Lautoka Maroons head Pool D with six points, and Namosi Blues lead Pool E with the same tally.

Nadroga leads Pool F with four points, while Pool G sees a three-way tie between Cakau Tagimoucia, Labasa Mystics and Macuata South on four.

Navosa leads Pool H with five points. The pool matches are currently underway, with teams vying for top rankings that will determine placement into Tier One and Tier Two divisions.

Quarter-finals are scheduled to be played tomorrow as the race for top honours intensifies.
