REWA staged a spirited second-half comeback to defeat Navua 2-1 in an entertaining Group A match of the 2026 BiC Fiji FACT at Subrail Park in Labasa last night.

Navua began the contest brightly and looked the more dangerous side in the opening stages, creating several opportunities to break the deadlock. However, Rewa’s defence stood firm and managed to repel repeated attacks for most of the first half.

Just when it appeared both teams would head into the break level, Navua found the breakthrough in first-half injury time. Walter Leoru rose above the defence to head home and give his side a deserved 1-0 advantage.

Trailing at halftime, Rewa emerged with renewed determination in the second spell and quickly turned the match around. Tevita Waranivalu levelled the scores before Kavaia Rawaqa struck soon after to complete a stunning comeback and hand the Delta Tigers a 2-1 lead.

Navua pushed hard in search of an equaliser during the closing stages, but Rewa’s defence remained resolute to secure all three points.

In earlier matches, Ba and Lautoka both recorded convincing 4-1 victories over Nadroga and Nasinu respectively.

Action continues today with Nadroga facing Nasinu at noon, Rewa taking on Suva at 2pm, Ba meeting Lautoka at 4pm, and hosts Labasa playing Navua at 6pm.
