Motorists are being cautioned to practice safe driving, be alert, vigilant and take all necessary precautionary measures at all times.
This after three people escaped serious injuries following two major accidents this morning.
According to police, the first accident was reported at the Korovou Police Station, whereby a truck veered off the Wailotua Bridge at around 4am.
Police say the driver and another occupant were heading towards the Western Division when the incident occurred.
“Both sustained injuries and were conveyed to the Korovou Hospital where they remain admitted under observation.
“In Samabula, a container truck tumbled whereby the driver fortunately escaped serious injuries.”
Investigations continue into both cases.
