The McDonald’s League 2025 will kick off on Wednesday at the Fiji FA Academy in Ba and run until Saturday.
The youth football tournament will feature U10, U12, and U14 grades for both boys and girls, with more than 400 young players taking part.
Fiji FA Women’s Talent Identification Officer Annette Nainima said the competition is an important pathway for young players.
“Grassroots competitions like the McDonald’s League are vital for the future of football in Fiji. They give our youngest players a chance to enjoy the game, learn discipline and teamwork, and dream big about representing Fiji one day,” Nainima said.
McDonald’s Fiji continues its long-time support for the league, which has helped develop many players who have gone on to represent their districts and the national team.
This week, Ba will become the centre of youth football as teams, families, and supporters gather for three days of action and celebration of the game.
