THE Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) launched the 100th anniversary celebration of the RFMF Band yesterday.
In announcing the centennial celebrations which will be held tomorrow at the RFMF Officers Mess at the Queen Elizabeth Barracks in Nabua, chief staff officer co-ordination Captain Eroni Duaibe said guests would witness a display by the National Youth Band and the Fiji Police Band, culminating with a display by the RFMF Band and the beating of the Retreat.
“A gallery will be set up too and guests will be invited to take a trip down memory lane to be able to be mesmerised with the history of the RFMF Band,” he said.
