The name “The Answer” which commentators gave Teti Tela sits perfectly as the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua fly-half’s inclusion in the side changed the course when he first donned the No 10 jersey.

He earned the nickname because of the way he marshals his teammates on the rugby field.

Tela hails from Daliconi Village on the island of Vanuabalavu, Lau, with maternal links to Sawakasa Village in Tailevu.

He was born in Levuka but migrated to New Zealand when he was seven and moved to Australia when he was 12.

His father, Jiofiliti worked for the Fiji Electricity Authority while his mother Rosi worked for the Colonial National Bank and they lived near Nasau Park in Levuka Town on Ovalau before they migrated.
