Sustainable development requires collective action to address the root causes that perpetuate gender and other inequalities in the Pacific, says secretary general of the Pacific Islands Forum Dame Meg Taylor.
She made this comment during the launch of the 2020 Biennial Sustainable Development Report today.
Ms Taylor said progress in gender inequalities continued to be hampered by social, cultural and economic barriers.
