Tavua and Seaqaqa will meet in the first leg of the Digicel Senior League play-off on October 29 at Subrail Park in Labasa.
Fiji FA competitions manager Amitesh Pal said the winner from the two-leg series would get automatic promotion to the top division.
“Tavua as the champion of the Viti Levu Zone and Seaqaqa as the winner of Vanua Levu Zone will play in a two-leg series. The winner gets the direct promotion to the Premier Division, “Pal said.
He said the fixture would be a cracker as both teams had prepared well for the series.
“I am sure fans can expect fireworks as this will be a very important match for both teams.”
Pal said both teams were very strong in their divisions.
“Both teams are well organised and play structured football and the fans in Labasa will enjoy the first leg.”
He said the second leg would be played on November 5 at Garvey Park in Tavua.
Meanwhile, Nasinu has been demoted to the senior division after finishing last in the Digicel Premier League points table this season.
