Taveuni Palms Resort wins two world awards

Update: 11:55AM BEAUTIFUL Taveuni Palms Resort Fiji Islands, has done it again , scooping two grand awards at events in Spain and Vietnam respectively.

The luxurious resort won “Best Resort and Hotel in Fiji” at the 2016 Seven Stars Luxury Hospitality and Lifestyle Awards, held in Marbella, Spain, and the “Australasia Leading Luxury Boutique Island Resort” at the 23rd annual World Travel Awards held in Danang, Vietnam.

“Winning a Seven Stars Luxury Hospitality and Lifestyle Award is a very exclusive club and we feel extremely privileged to have won this award for the second time, having also won in 2013,” Colleen O’Neill, Owner, Taveuni Palms Resort said.

According to a media release from Brooke Tolar of Dragonfly Public Relations, the Seven Stars Luxury Hospitality and Lifestyle Awards (SSLHLA) are voted on by consumers and trade and are designed to identify the exceptional from the very best by bestowing the highest and exclusive, SIGNUM VIRTUTIS – the seal of excellence, upon the most exceptional luxury Hospitality and Lifestyle properties worldwide.

Mr Tolar says the World Travel Awards are an annual red-carpet event and considered the Oscars of the tourism industry. It is acknowledged across the globe as the ultimate travel accolade and voted on by travel and tourism professionals worldwide.

“These awards aim to celebrate organisations that push the boundaries of industry excellence,” he said.

“We are delighted to once again be honoured by the prestigious World Travel Awards,” says Mrs O’Neill.

“This is our sixth consecutive win in a range of categories since 2011 and it truly is a testament to our dedicated staff and team and the amazing service and Fijian hospitality they provide. To say we are proud is an understatement,” she added.
