Tanoa pips Qaraniqio to win inter-house

AFTER three years, Nasinu Secondary School had its formal inter-house meet yesterday at the HFC Bank Stadium and the results spoke of the athletic talent present.

Tanoa and Qaraniqio Houses tied on 29 gold at the end of the meet which left the decider to the most silver medals won.

And it was Tanoa House that had the edge with 35 silver to finish the inter-house as champions. They also bagged 30 bronze medals.

Qaraniqio had to settle for second with 27 silver and 22 bronze.

Tovata came in third place with 24 gold, 15 silver and 19 bronze while Rawiriwiri finished fourth with 13 gold, 14 silver and 19 bronze medals.

Next now for Nasinu is getting their athletes ready for the Fiji Secondary Schools Athletics Suva Zone One meet.
