The Fiji Bureau of Statistics (FBoS) has announced the appointment of Apisalome Tamani as Acting Chief Executive, effective February 4, 2026.
Mr Tamani, who currently serves as Deputy Government Statistician (Technical), has assumed the role and will act in the position until a substantive appointment is made.
The role was previously held by Kemueli Naiqama, who has been appointed as Fiji’s Ambassador to Japan.
