Tagimoucia Ranadi is a proud participant in grassroots rugby in Fiji, as they recently took part in the Fiji Bitter Yalovata Lomaiviti 7s tournament held at Nasau Park in Levuka yesterday.

The women’s match began with four teams competing, and Tagimoucia Ranadi showcased their talent on the second day of the competition.

Under the guidance of coach Ana Rabuka, the team started strong with a 19-0 victory against Yalovata womens.

Rabuka expressed her pride in the team’s performance and their enjoyment of grassroots rugby.

“The girls are out to showcase their talent and also enjoy grassroots rugby at its best,” said Rabuka.

She acknowledged areas of improvement after the match and emphasised the team’s preparation for the competition.

Rabuka also noted that every tournament is challenging, but the experience gained at the Yalovata Lomaiviti 7s was invaluable.

The team is determined to continue their journey in the Fiji Bitter series, with the upcoming Wairiki 7s in Taveuni in two weeks.

“We have been preparing well for this competition, we know every tournament will be tough, so it was a great experience for us.
