The Tailevu Provincial Council was opened this morning by Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka at Vuci Village, Tokatoka.
While opening the two day meet, Mr Rabuka encouraged the traditional leaders to work with government in its ongoing efforts to develop their communities.
He said the economic empowerment and development of rural communities was also part of the recently launched National Development Plan.
The Prime Minister also opened the $49,000 Vuci Farm Access Road.
