Tailevu head coach Samisoni Baikeitoga says his side will have to work on their discipline if they hope to defend their home ground against the Skipper Cup champions next weekend.

The side managed to secure a slim win in round four of the competition against Yasawa, after beating the side 17-10.

“Discipline was a major issue for us today, and if we hope to defend our home ground against Suva on Saturday then we will have to work on this particular area,” Baikeitoga said.

The side got flagged with two yellow cards at Nakelo District School in Tailevu yesterday which Baikeitoga said had affected their performance.

He thanked all their fans and spectators who turned up in numbers to support the team.

“We know we have the support of the people and the Vanua, and we thank all our fans for coming out today to show their support for the team.”

Looking ahead to their next match against Suva, Baikeitoga said he they are expecting nothing short of a battle from the capital side.

“So it’s back to our drawing board where we now prepare to take on the defending champions.”
