Update: 11:32AM TACIRUA Transport Company Ltd has temporarily stop operations as strong winds and heavy downpour continue to hit the country.
Company
director Viren Singh made this known in an electronic mail advising the Land
Transport Authority (LTA) and the Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) of this decision.
“Further
to the category 3 warning hurricane and numerous fallen trees in our routes and
with rising waters, we have decided to begin ceasing operations, not just for
public safety but for the safety of our drivers and passengers,” Mr Singh said.
