Update: 7:06PM FIJI displayed winning form this evening in the semi final for fifth place to defeat Kenya 24-5 at the HSBC World Series Sydney 7s.
Fiji began its scoring spree in the third minute with a try by Jerry Tuwai which Amenoni Nasilasila easily converted.
Much to the excitement of the Fiji fans who are quite dominant at the Alliance Stadium, Fiji kept the points going with another try to playmaker Nasilasila himself which he converted.
Kenya’s lone try came from Jeffery Oluoch in the final moments of the game.
Fiji now meets New Zealand in the fight for fifth place previously the Plate competition final.
