Swami Vivekananda College (SVC) in Malolo, Nadi reigns yet again as the Nadi Zone athletics champ for 2023.
The third time winners, this year scooped the overall prize — dominating in both the girls’ and boys’ divisions.
It was an easy win for SVC as they ruled in the junior, intermediate and senior grades for the boys and the sub-junior, junior and senior grades for the girls.
School principal Rajesh Krishna said their target for this year was to win gold at the Coca Cola Games and to finish as one of the top schools at the national athletics meet.
Mr Krishna thanked his athletes for their great sportsmanship, discipline and team work under the guidance of their coach Deepak Narayan and team manager.
Swami Vivekananda College ex-scholars chairman Vineel Nand wished the school’s athletes all the best in the upcoming national athletics meet.
The school hopes to win more medals this year compared to the last year.
