SUVA has been crowned the 2019 Vodafone Futsal IDC champion after a hard-fought battle defeating Nadi 3-2 at the Hockey centre in Suva.
Suva thrashed Navua in the second semifinal 4-0 after they led in the halftime break 1-0.
In the first semifinal, Nadi beat Rewa 4-2 to qualify for the final and their four goals were scored in the first half, and Rewa scored a goal each in the two halves.
Suva walked away $3000 richer while Nadi received $1500 as runner up.
This win confirms Suva’s ticket to the OFC Futsal Champions League in Auckland, New Zealand in December.
