THE 2018 Druku Memorial open surfing event will start on Monday.
This was confirmed by FIJI Surfing coach Ian Portingale.
“The prestigious event includes the ‘King of Cloudbreak’ and the ‘Queen of Cloudbreak’ at the world renown surf break Cloudbreak,” he said in a press release.
“The top 28 male surfers from around Fiji and the top 7 females from Fiji and Australia will be vying for the honour of taking the crown.”
Meanwhile, the competition boat will depart from Sonaisali Island on Monday and Tuesday.
