The Fiji New Zealand Business Council (FNZBC) held its networking cocktail at Five Princess hotel last week Friday.
FNZBC president Renu Chand told the members of the council present that there would be two more upcoming events.
“This is our November event and I was told our Suva members wanted more events,” she said.
“So we will have our next function on December 7 which is a Christmas cocktail.”
She added the FNZBC will also have a New Year’s welcome event in January 2023. Mrs Chand said FNZBC had sponsored the future leaders program held in July this year.
“It’s something that the council is now sponsoring and is great for us to take such a bold step and support the development of our Fijian future leaders.
“And it’s connecting values amongst senior secondary school students from Fiji, New Zealand and Australia.
“The conference was a week long program, there were 40 students that came from Australia and New Zealand connecting with 20 students from Fiji.
“It was such a rewarding event and I’m so proud with elections coming up we are partnering with future leaders program to connect the Pacific strongly, as well as building values amongst our senior secondary school students.”
