Areas between Momi in Nadi, Lautoka, Ba, Tavua, Rakiraki, interior Ra, Tailevu North, Yasawa and Mamanuca group and Vanua Levu remain under a heavy rain alert.
The Nadi weather office states in a special bulletin at 4;10pm, an active trough of low pressure lies slow moving over the group.
Localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low-lying areas.
The Fiji Meteorological Service states there can be isolated flash flooding of low-lying areas during heavy rain and reduced visibility on the roads.
