Style Fiji 2025 will have new faces sitting on the charity fashion show’s organising committee.
The seven-member committee comprising of Bridgit Whitton, Mikhail Whitton, Siteri Puamau, Evalyn May, Katrin Dressino, Lagilagi Malani and Samson Lee will be heading this year’s fashion show taking over from founders Zelda Thomas and Marlene Vuniwaqa.
On the opportunity to give back, renowned fashion designer Lee said they were excited to be part of the charity show that had helped many organisations for more than 12 years.
“We are all so excited and honoured to be taking over from Zelda and Marlene,” said Lee.
“They have done such an amazing job for the past 15 years for Style Fiji and today we are super honoured to be supporting their work and obviously continue the work that they began.”
Lee said the committee was looking forward to putting together Style Fiji 2025 that would be held later this year.
“We are super excited for 2025 and this year we will hold it again at the Sofitel Resort and the theme for this year is Legends of the South Seas.
“We have eight amazing designers who will be showcasing on the night and its going to be an amazing show and we have a lot of good things planned out for the show.”
Meanwhile, Style Fiji co-founders Zelda and Marlene expressed their gratitude for being able to bring the charity fashion show this far.
“We will still be part of Style Fiji but in a smaller role and having a new committee means exciting new ideas and new concepts for the show that we know will only take it to a much bigger level,” said Ms Thomas.
