Students return to school today for the third term of studies.
Heads of schools and teachers reported to school yesterday for student free day (SFD); and school heads had been reminded to ensure all resources and preparations were ready for classes proper today.
Minister for Education Aseri Radrodro has also urged students to spend more time and effort in revising, discussing, updating and working closely with their teachers, adding internal and external examination this term would determine their success in 2024.
“I urge all students to work hard, be dedicated and committed towards their academic studies,” Mr Radrodro said.
He also reminded parents and guardians to spend quality time supervising their children after school.
“Students will succeed with the support of all members of the education team, including heads of schools, teachers, parents and school management. Collaborative effort in supporting education has far reaching impact in the holistic development of every student.
“Teachers are reminded to use innovative pedagogies that enhance learning and revision as they prepare their students for the final term and examinations therein.”
