FREE Bird Institute student Luca Vakatawa left our shores last Tuesday July 11, to begin his new employment with Japan Airlines.
The Free Bird Institute, an English language school that opened its doors in Fiji in 2014, announced the successful placement of Mr Vakatawa through their Japanese Language School program.
“Mr Vakatawa has displayed exceptional commitment and proficiency during his time at our Japanese Language School,” a press release by the institute said.
“His successful completion of the program has equipped him with the necessary language skills and cultural understanding to thrive in the Japanese work environment. We are confident that his dedication and enthusiasm will contribute to the continued success of Japan Airlines.
“We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mr Luca Vakatawa on his accomplishment and wish him great success in his new role with Japan Airlines. We are confident that he will uphold the values and professionalism instilled in him during his time at Free Bird Institute.”
Such opportunities are made possible through a partnership between the Free Bird Institute and the Narita Airport Business Company Ltd (NAAB) of Japan.
The collaboration between the institute and NAAB has been instrumental in providing opportunities for Fijian individuals to excel in the aviation industry in Japan.
