A 61-year-old woman accused of cyber bullying through social media platorm TikTok has been ordered to stay away from social media for the next 14 days.
Nadi Magistrate Peni Dalituicama also imposed a stop departure order on Anis Khatoon Gwaizda, who was scheduled to return to Australia on Monday.
She was charged with the alleged cyber bullying of two of her family members on TikTok where she has 51,000 followers.
According to court records, the Australian resident is accused of posting electronic communication with the intention to cause harm to a niece and step sister.
While granting bail, Magistrate Dalituicama also ordered the woman not to delete or tamper with any of the TikTok posts in which she was allegedly bullying the two women.
Defence counsel Faizal Koya has submitted that his client would also be making submissions to the Online Safety Commission. He said his client would be making a cross complaint against the two women before the commission.
The case has been adjourned to February 11.
