THE Ba Football Association (BFA) brought early Christmas cheer to patients at Ba Aspen Hospital through a special community outreach visit yesterday.

Led by president Praneel Dayal, BFA officials and Ba FC players visited the hospital and presented 45 Christmas hampers to patients receiving treatment.

The visit was an emotional one, with several patients moved to tears as they received gifts from their football heroes.

In a media statement Mr Dayal said the initiative was not about publicity but about giving back to the community that has continued to support Ba football over the years.

“Football in Ba is seen as a religion, but at the heart of our community spirit is in the act of giving,” he said.

He added that the association remains committed to working closely with the community and supporting those in need, especially during the festive season.

The BFA said the visit was also a reminder to supporters to look out for one another and keep the spirit of generosity alive.

The association plans to continue strengthening its connection with the people of Ba through similar initiatives in the future.
