Charity Golf
THE Fiji Ship Owners and Agents Association Charity Golf tournament in aid of Colonial War Memorial Hospital’s Fiji Children’s Overseas Treatment Trust Fund will be held on Friday, September 19 at the Fiji Golf Club. Registration for the stableford event is $20 per person.
NETBALL
Nadroga Men’s and Mixed
THE knockout has been postponed to October 4 at 10am at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka. Invitation to all Coral Coast hotels, business houses and villages are invited to join the Nadroga Men’s and Mixed Netball Association 2014 season. Registration fee is $100 per team (Open/Mixed). Winner walks away with cash and also runner-up will get cash. Teams are to assemble by 10am and Gabriele Qoro will be our chief guest. Umpires Kalesi (Lautoka), Poasa, Keresi (Nadi), Bola, Torika, Litia Vatureba (Navosa). Teams are to be in proper sports uniforms and gear. Registration closes on Wednesday, October 1 and special manager’s meeting will be held at the True Blue Hotel at 3pm. Fees to be paid on time. Nadroga/Navosa Umpires
Umpires who passed the C-badge are to attend a meeting today at the True Blue Hotel at 5pm. This is regarding hosting a workshop with the western umpires in late September. Salad Bowl
TRAINING daily at Lawaqa ground 2 at 4.30pm. Players are reminded to attend final trials to select one Open and two Mixed teams for the opening of Nadroga Men’s and Mixed Netball season. Salad Bowl under-23 players trials on Tuesday and Wednesday from 4pm. Players are reminded to come with the warm up T-shirt for Salad Bowl $5. THE Coastal Great 8 7s is a qualifying tournament for the 2014 Bayleys Fiji Coral Coast Sevens.
