POLICE special constable and national youth netball rep, Episake Kahatoka was given a fitting send off by her comrades at the Totogo Police Station today.
The 20-year-old heads off to the Oceania Netball World Youth Cup on September 26-29 in Auckland, New Zealand .
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said a farewell morning tea was organised for the player who was overwhelmed by the support shown by her fellow officers in acknowledging her achievements.
“I am excited with another opportunity to represent both the nation and the Fiji Police Force and I am blessed to have so much support from both my family and comrades.
“I thank God for my selection into the Under-21 national side and I am happy that the hours of training both in the morning and afternoon has paid off,” SC Kahatoka said.
