FISHERMEN of Nairai in the Lomaiviti group have been assured by Fiji’s Minister for Fisheries Semi Koroilavesau that a solar freezer will be installed on the island.
Villagers were told that this would be done as early as next week.
Lomaiviti provincial council delegates were making queries and requests to ministers at Sawaieke Village in Gau during a talanoa session.
Already, it has been confirmed that an awareness workshop for boat operators would be held in Nairai.
