Update: 6:00PM FORMER Permanent Secretary for Information Sharon Smith-Johns is officially leaving the Department of Information and National Archives.
This was confirmed this afternoon following an announcement by Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum who thanked Ms Smith-Johns for her service and wished her well in her future endeavours.
Ms Smith-Johns is looking to pursue opportunities in the private sector, the Department of Information highlighted in its statement.
