Update: 6:29PM TAILEVU secured their first win against Ovalau in round nine of the Skipper Cup competition 32-8 at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori today.
Maika Baleinatoto enabled Tailevu to register first on the scoreboard by slotting in two penalties by the 20th minute of play.
A try in the 30th and 38th minute from Pauliasi Rokosuka and Epeli Ruivadra saw them further their lead 20-3 at the breather with Ovalau�s Leonard Mateo successfully kicking a penalty for Ovalau.
In the second half, Tailevu managed two tries from Josua Vici, one of which was unconverted which tallied their points at 32.
Ovalau�s second half try from Niko Volavola was not enough to keep them in contention with the full time whistle marking the end of the match with the final points at 32-8.
