THE 2025-2026 Fiji Bitter 7s Series was launched yesterday, with six major tournaments to be played.
The series which is on its third consecutive season will run from this month until March 2026.
The Fiji Bitter Yalivata 7s will get the series rolling on November 28-29, followed by the Wairiki 7s on December 11-13.
The Service Rugby 7s (Labasa) is scheduled for January 8-10, Savusavu 7s on February 5-7, Nawaka 7s on March 13-14, all culminating to the mecca of local sevens tournaments which the Marist 7s on March 26-28.
At the launch, head of marketing- ARTD at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (Fiji) PTE Ltd, Etrina Simpson reiterated Fiji’s Bitter’s connection to grassroots rugby.
“Rugby is a unifying force that brings our communities together. By investing in this series, we are helping nurture the next generation of rugby stars while celebrating the spirit and pride that make Fijian rugby so special.”
Fiji Bitter is working closely with local organisations and rugby clubs to ensure a safe, exciting and memorable experience for both players and fans.
Detailed tournament schedules, participating teams and event highlights will be announced in the coming weeks.
