Six personnel of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) were recently promoted to the rank of Officer Cadet by the RFMF Commander Major-General Jone Kalouniwai before they leave our shores to undergo officer training with the Australian Defence Force.
The Officer Cadets will undergo an 18 months of Officers training and upon completing their training they will graduate as Second Lieutenant (2LT) and return to RFMF as Junior Officers.
From the six-officer cadet, Private (Pte), Mosese Qionimacawa and Private (Pte), Iowane Dovarua will be furthering their studies at the ADF Academy and be part of the Bachelor of Civil Engineer program that will commence in March, before joining their comrades at the Royal Military College at Duntroon, Australia.
