HIGH school rugby captains can expect an inspirational speech this Friday from Legendary All Blacks player Sir Michael Jones.

Sir Michael will be arriving into the country on Friday, July 20, and will be speaking to high school rugby captains at the Suva Grammar School hall.

Later in the evening, he will be chief guest at the Viti Spinal Injuries Association of Fiji Old Skool Ball at the Grand Pacific Hotel.

He is expected to share his insights, his training and the values he has nurtured to help young rugby players achieve their goals.

Some of the schools that will be sending their rugby captains are Lelean Memorial School, Jeremiah College, Nasinu Secondary School, Marist Brothers High School, William Cross College, John Wesley College, Suva Grammar School and Bau Central College.

Meanwhile, Viti Spinal Injuries Association of Fiji President Paul McGoon is expecting 250 to 300 people to attend the event.

Sir Michael said he felt privileged to stand by those whose lives had been shattered by spinal injury.

“It is a chance for us to show them they are not alone and that we are all right behind them with a helping hand,” he said.

Tables and tickets for the Friday night gala event at GPH are still available.
