SEBASTIAN Singh easily outclassed Thailand boxer Praphruet Chanton for a fourth round knockout victory in the main event of the Westwood Boxing promotions at the Novotel Suva Lami Bay Conventional Centre in Lami on Friday night.
Chanton hit the canvas twice in the fourth round before Singh was declared the winner to maintain his unbeaten run at home.
“The game plan was to establish the jabs and start working on other combinations. The opponent was very tricky and he threw some big punches. I’m glad to win, “Singh said.
Some local boxers had challenged Singh after his victory.
“To all those boys who have challenged me, Abhay Chand, Siliveni Nawai and Ronald Naidu, the welterweight we can do it whenever you guys are ready. I’m ready,” he said.
His manager Aman Ravindra Singh said they were looking at more fights this year.
“It was a fantastic win. It was a worthy opponent. It lasted four rounds,” he said.

Main supporting bout: 6×3 middleweight 75Kg: Franko Frazer beat Malakai Marama on points.
