William Singe will be one of the headline acts at the Bounty Stir It Up 2024 on September 28 at the Vou Hub Denarau Road.
Born Liam Anthony Singe on July 2, 1992, in Forestville, New South Wales, this rising star has quickly become a force in the music scene, blending R&B, pop, and reggae to create a sound uniquely his own.
Growing up in a musically inclined family, Singe was inspired by his father’s career as a singer and songwriter.
He initially pursued music after an unforgettable audition for The X Factor Australia in 2011.
“While he did not advance during his first attempt, his tenacity paid off when he re-auditioned in 2012. He ultimately finished third with The Collective, a group that quickly made waves in the Australian music industry,” said events co-ordinator Onisimo Moi Vatuwaqa.
Transitioning to a solo career in 2015, Singe began recording spectacular cover tracks of hits by artists like Justin Bieber, The Weekend, and Drake.
The cover of Drake’s Hotline Bling became a viral sensation, getting millions of views on YouTube and solidifying his reputation as a gifted artist.
Over the years, he has amassed a massive online following, with over 2.6 million subscribers on YouTube and millions of followers on social media.
In 2023, he released his debut album, Where Do Birds Go At Night? Which showcased his artistic evolution and growth.
“Singe’s catchy tunes and soulful delivery have earned him collaborations with notable names in the industry, including Jonas Blue and Samantha Jade.”
