Simon signs with Benetton

Fiji under-20 player Simon Koroiyadi has signed a deal with Benetton for the 2024-25 season.

The backrower will join former Swire Shipping Fijian Drua utility player Onisi Ratave.

Koroiyadi was part of the Fiji Under-20 Rugby team to the World Rugby U20 Championship in South Africa earlier this year.

The Mudu, Koro from Lomaiviti 20-year-old lad made his first appearance for the club in a friendly match against Harlequins last Saturday.

Koroiyadi with Phil Cokanasiga will combine with Ratave as the Fijian trio set to light up the Italy-based club.

Cokanasiga, who plays as a centre, is the younger brother of Bath Rugby and England international Joe Cokanasiga.
