THE Swire Shipping Fijian Drua have announced a new partnership with Silver Ferns, who will supply the club with official training equipment ahead of the 2026 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific season.

Silver Fern has provided the Drua with a wide range of elite-level gear, boosting the team’s preparation as they build toward a big 2026 campaign.

Head Coach Glen Jackson said the partnership will make a strong difference.

“We feel very lucky and privileged to associate with Silver Fern. I know they’ve done a lot already with the free ball giveaway with Rebel Sports, and to have them as our supplier of hit shields, tackle suits, tackle machines and a bit of everything it’s great to have them onboard.”

Silver Fern Managing Director Kent Rae said they are thrilled to support the Drua over the next five years.

“We are super excited to announce that Silver Fern Sport has signed on as equipment sponsor for the Fijian Drua for the next 5 years. We are looking forward to the coaches and players using the most innovative rugby brand in the world,” Rae said.

Rae said their earlier engagement with the club made the partnership a natural fit.

“After meeting with Glen and some of the team at Drua HQ, while giving balls away with Rebel Sport as part of the Pass it Forward program we got a real sense that the innovation required to compete in one of the world’s toughest club competitions from the pacific islands was the perfect match for Silver Fern. We look forward to the players testing our equipment and the feedback that will come from working with a high-performance environment.”

The partnership follows recent collaboration where Silver Fern helped give away more than 20 rugby balls to young players during a local competition between Nadi Rugby Union and Ba Rugby Union, showing their commitment to developing the sport at grassroots level.
