Rakiraki residents had the chance to witness five days of Shree Krishna Leela festival, the epic story of Lord Shree Krishna, at the Nanuku Sangam School.
The event was organised after a lapse of 16 years and was led by Pundit Sareesh Sharma.
“The prime purpose of hosting this event is to revive the annual cultural event which used to happen in previous years,” organising secretary Anit Kumar said.
“This event will also create an atmosphere of unity and togetherness amongst the people of different villages.
“This event will instill good moral, ethics and virtues amongst the children who are the future of tomorrow for the community through preservation of the culture through Lord Krishna’s teaching.”
