The Fiji Showcase is shaping up to be bigger and better this year with the nine-day extravaganza kicking off at the Vodafone Arena in Suva yesterday.
Communications Fiji Ltd general manager Charles Taylor said the event promises to showcase a variety of entertainment and an extensive lineup of businesses.
“One of the standout features of the Fiji Showcase is its stellar entertainment line-up,” Mr Taylor said.
“And we have got a good line-up of entertainers this year,” he added.
He said the event also remained committed to providing top-notch cultural and artistic experiences.
Organisers are also focused on ensuring the safety of the public.
Event coordinator Mahajabeen Khan said throughout the venue, checkpoints manned by the Fiji Police Force would ensure stringent inspections to uphold safety standards, promptly addressing any security concerns or prohibited items such as drugs.
“Safety is our number one priority,” Ms Khan said.
“The event welcomes families and friends alike, ensuring a safe environment for everyone.”
Highlighting family-friendly features, Ms Khan unveiled the addition of a dedicated Safe Kids Corner sponsored by The FIJI Water Foundation.
She added entertainment at The Fiji Showcase promises to be a highlight, showcasing a vibrant mix of local talents and international acts.
