A severe thunderstorm warning with heavy rainfall has been issued at 6:00am today for Tailevu North, interior Naitasiri and interior Ra areas.
Fiji Meteorological Service states people are urged to clear of flooded creeks and drains and not to walk, ride bike or drive through flood waters.
Fiji Met has asked that all computers and appliances be unplugged and people in these areas are to stay indoors away from windows and keep children and pets indoors as well.
