Seruvakula elected as the new chairman for GCC

Ratu Viliame Seruvakula is the new chairman of the Great Council of Chiefs.

The Tailevu chief, na Turaga Sau, was elected by members of the GCC at their meeting in the Lagoon Resort in Pacific Harbour today.

More details will be announced at a press conference at the Lagoon Resort this evening.

The press conference will be live-streamed by the Department of Information on the Fiji Government Facebook page and the Fiji Times Facebook page.
