AFTER 46 years the King of Seven’s and rugby maestro Waisale Serevi finally made his return to Delainamasi Primary School on Wednesday (December 2).

Serevi said it was an honour and a privilege to be invited back to his former school as the Chief Guest for the school’s 2025 graduation ceremony.

Speaking at the graduation the maestro shared a few words of inspiration to students at his former school.

“I believe there is a lot of Waisale Serevi’s here today, not only on the rugby field but doctors, teachers, lawyers pastors, sports stars and many more,” he said.

“If I made it this far, with God nothing is impossible you all can do it.”

He concluded his speech challenging the graduates that through faith, hard work and a determination to never give up they will achieve anything they dare to dream.

In 1979 Waisale Serevi graduated from Delainamasi Primary School and went on to Lelean Memorial School to further his high school studies.

With all his achievements and accolades he credits his faith, hard work, determination and his Sunday School certificate as the pillars of his success.
